Stonewall Action celebrates our successful launch event this past Thursday, March 27th, at Oilcan Harry’s. More than 50 activists from all across Austin’s five counties came out in attendance ready to get to work. We draw strength from our history – the defiant stand, particularly by Black and trans individuals, during the 1969 Stonewall Inn raid. Just as bricks were thrown then to ignite a movement, we now use them to build and organize for our future today.
